Eva Mendes puts a fashionable foot forward as the international face of 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty, a month-long style event sponsored by Australia's ACP Magazines, during a press event Wednesday in Sydney.
Looking business-ready in her chic blazer, Jennifer Aniston arrives at West Hollywood restaurant Madeo on Tuesday for a dinner with director Woody Allen (not pictured).
Just two months after giving birth to daughter Stella, Tori Spelling shows off her svelte form (in a mint-green Shoshanna dress) Tuesday while leaving a business meeting in New York City.

American Idol alum Kellie Pickler absolutely needs her hair and makeup people, but not because she's a spoiled, demanding diva – because she can't do it herself. "Well, I have a team of highly-trained professionals that get me ready because I can’t do it on my own," she tells OK!. "When I’m out on tour, I usually just do it myself but for TV and photo shoots I usually have people that help get me ready because it’s so stressful anyways."
Kellie admits that she's a simple girl when it comes to makeup, saying "I hate wearing makeup anyway – I don’t ever wear it unless I have to." Although when it comes to mascara, she'll hit up the nearest drug store to stock up on her favorites. "I have 40,000 mascaras," she jokes. "For a girl that doesn’t like makeup, I have a lot."
The natural beauty definitely doesn't need any help from makeup to catch a man either – she's currently dating Nashville musician Kyle Jacobs. The couple keeps it casual when she's home from tour, choosing to relax on the couch instead of hit up wild night clubs and fancy restaurants.
"When I come in off the road, I like to crash and be a bum and sit at home on the couch and just talk," says Kellie. "We don’t really have to be doing anything. We usually just enjoy each other’s company and make each other laugh."
Of fellow American Idol country sensation, Carrie Underwood, Kellie hopes she'll find someone to laugh with too, saying the guy for her should be "someone who’s trusting and funny and a good guy who is going to treat her right."
As for any rumors swirling around Kellie herself, she's got a positive, if not overly generous, attitude: "I’m just glad people are actually talking about me. And when they’re talking bad about me, they’re giving somebody else a break."
Watch Kellie host the CMA Music Festival special, along with fellow country gals Taylor Swift and Julianne Hough, Sept. 8 on ABC.

Happier personally and professionally than she's been in a long time, Jessica Simpson tells PEOPLE that boyfriend Tony Romo is her "perfect guy." "I just told him today, 'You're the love of my life,' " she confesses in the latest cover story. "I don't really ever say that to anybody." Jessica, 28 (as is Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony), also co-wrote a song for her man, "You're My Sunday," which is featured on her new country album, Do You Know (out Sept. 9).
And, in a true modern-day sign of devotion, changed her cell phone number and e-mail address to cut off any potential communication from her exes. "I don't want anybody that's been in my life [before] in my life anymore," she says. "I don't even want them to have any way of contacting me." Tony hasn't done the same, but Jessica brushes it off. "I'm not a jealous girlfriend," she says – even though in a recent interview his ex, Carrie Underwood, claims she still hears from him.
As for her own onetime relationship with John Mayer – which began in 2006 and fizzled out last summer – Jess survived its rockiness by doing some self-appraisal afterwards. "I had to regain self-esteem and self-value," she says. When it comes to relationships, Jess says she gives over her heart fully and expects the same in return: "I just love, so I don't understand when people can't do exactly what I do."

If you think Matthew McConaughey is a character, wait until you meet his mom. In her new book, I Amaze Myself! (iamazemyself.com), Kay McConaughey dishes on everything from her son Matthew’s conception to how her husband died in a compromising position with her!
“On Monday mornings, he and I often said goodbye by making love,” Kay says exclusively in the latest issue of Us Weekly. “But one day, all of a sudden, it just happened. I knew that something was wrong, because I didn’t hear anything from him.”
“Just nothing," she continued. "But it was just the best way to go!” And when her man couldn’t be revived, she made sure he was taken from the house in the buff. “I was just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey — and his gift,” she says.
The mother — who tells Us, “I would love to be on Oprah!” — also says that her most famous son, 38, was a happy accident.
It was just after she’d married Matthew’s dad for the third time. “I was deciding, ‘Do I want to have another baby? Do I want to have an affair? Or go back to school?’” she says. “That’s when Matthew was conceived. We had tried for 16 years and no baby. So Matthew was a big surprise!”

In town for the Venice Film Festival, Brad Pitt steps out for a boat ride in the Italian city Tuesday with two of his little men, sons Maddox, 7, and Pax, 4. The actor was at the fest to premiere his dark comedy Burn After Reading.
Fresh from a visit to London, Kate Hudson spends quality time with son Ryder, 4, giving him a lift around New York's Greenwich Village on Wednesday.
Sacha Baron Cohen gives his precious cargo – 10-month-old daughter Olive (with fiancĂ©e Isla Fisher, not pictured) – a lift while waiting in line Monday at Los Angeles International Airport.
After a date night with Katie Holmes over the weekend, Tom Cruise and 2-year-old daughter Suri head to a heliport in New York City on Monday.
Reporters at a Burn After Reading press conference Wednesday in Venice, Italy, didn't seem to care too much about the new comedy. Instead, they wanted to talk babies and marriage with the film's stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Is it better to win an Oscar or fall in love with a beautiful woman, one reporter asked Brad. “Brad, don’t answer that,” George quipped.
When a Hong Kong TV channel reporter asked Brad if his twins look more like him or Angelina Jolie, George stepped in again. "The twins are fine," he said, according to Reuters.
Does Clooney have any plans to settle down and have kids himself, another journalist asked. “I am so surprised to hear that question. That is honestly the first time I’ve been asked that question," he joked. "I am getting married and having children today. Brad?” Replied Brad, "And until then I’ll be sharing mine with him. I’ll have two more by next year."
Brad made his first public post-twin appearance with George Tuesday night at a Not On Our Watch fundraiser at Venice's Giudecca island. Earlier Tuesday, Brad and sons Pax, 4, and Maddox, 7, (sporting a bright blue mohawk!) arrived in Italy from their $70 million French mansion. The family went for a speed boat ride.

Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton are again going their separate ways, a rep for the actress tells PEOPLE exclusively. "Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement," said Nicole Perna. "They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter." The couple's relationship originally started in 1992, and lasted for five years. Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's summer of love, which began with their wedding in May, is closing with more exciting news: They are expecting their first child together, his rep confirms.
"Brooke and I are thrilled!" Charlie said in a statement Monday. "She's the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she'll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy awaits us."
Charlie, 42, already has three daughters: Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra, 23, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt. "Brooke found out for sure on Friday and is thrilled to death," a family source tells PEOPLE. "Brooke loves Charlie very much and has wanted a baby for some time."
The pair began talking kids right after their wedding, with Brooke joking that she wanted triplets. "Could you imagine if I really had triplets?" she told Extra in June. "He'd be like, 'Whoa!'"

With her budding belly growing each day, Ashlee Simpson gushed to ET Canada about baby prep and marital bliss. The singer, who confirmed the pregnancy back in May, says she and husband Pete Wentz have been knee-deep in baby-proofing their Hollywood home.
"We're getting the nursery ready," said Ashlee. "I can't wait to be a mom and he can't wait to be a dad, so it's fun. I have the greatest husband. He's so awesome. It's fun to have somebody that I love to do this with."
Having her family around has been comforting too. "My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice," said Ashlee, "but it's one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away."
Other things on their to-do list? Picking a baby name. But Ashlee says they haven't settled on one yet. After joking about calling their kid "Orange," Ashlee said, "I don't think it's something we'll decide until the baby comes."
She's also been writing a few new tunes, but won't jump back into the studio until her little bundle is born. "The baby is my main focus right now," she says. "We're both so excited. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life."

With their brood of six kids, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are eligible for almost $2,600 a month in child benefits – though it's highly unlikely the couple will accept the cash. Just before the birth of their twins, Knox and Vivienne, the movie stars moved into the Chateau Miraval in the south of France.
Brad, 44, registered the family at the town hall in nearby Brignoles – making them qualify for France's generous parenting subsidies. (The benefits are available to all families, regardless of their financial means.)
No one expects the Jolie-Pitt clan to cash in, but they are technically eligible for a "nanny payment" of $975.84 a month, not to mention an "orphan allowance" of $508.97 for each of their three adopted children. The grand total, $2,592.81, would be payable by check each month.
"We do not discuss individual benefits cases," said a spokeswoman for the Brignoles council. "But [we] can confirm that all resident local families with young children are eligible for certain benefits."

Paula, Randy and Simon are getting some company. Grammy-nominated songwriter Kara DioGuardi is joining American Idol as a judge when the singing competition returns for its eighth season in January 2009. “We are turning the heat up on Idol this year and are thrilled to welcome Kara to the judges’ table,” show creator Simon Fuller said in a statement released Monday. “She is a smart, sassy lady, and one of America’s most successful songwriters. We know she will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the show.”
DioGaurdi is certainly qualified for the job, having written songs for artists as diverse as Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Santana, and Pink. Even Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers have released DioGuardi’s songs.
Adding a fourth judge may seem like a shakeup for TV’s biggest show but, according to executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz, producers always intended to have a fourth judge on the panel. “We’ve seen from our international series that having a fourth judge creates a dynamic that benefits both the contestants and the viewers,” Frot-Coutaz said.
And at least one executive at FOX, Mike Darnell, the network’s president of alternative programming, believes that original female judge Paula Abdul deserves some companionship. “For the past seven seasons, Paula has had to endure the experience of being the only woman at the judges’ table,” Darnell said in a statement. “With Kara by her side, Paula finally has some back-up and now there is going to be a lot more ‘girl power’ on the show.”

It’s not a rumor anymore! With their rekindled romance in full bloom, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling were spotted enjoying one another’s company in Toronto on Thursday. The picture perfect couple were photographed kissing and hugging while out for a bite to eat for breakfast near Rachel’s Canadian home.
Of their decision to give love another try, an insider recently told press: “They’ve been talking a lot. Their friends are quite pleased that they’re getting back together and are trying to give them space.” The two started dating in 2004, after meeting during the filming of their romantic film, The Notebook. Before their breakup in 2007, Ryan told press: “She’s inspired me to do so much. She’s the most discerning person I’ve ever met. She’ll read a script 100 times. She’s relentless.”

What's in a name? For Gwen Stefani's newborn, Zuma Nesta Rock – plenty.
Take the unique first name: Computer game aficionados may remember Zuma, a popular 2004 video game from PopCap Games. Zuma required players to remove balls rolling around the computer screen by firing a colored ball at them before they filled up the screen.
A more likely name inspiration? Malibu's famous Zuma Beach, a favorite destination for parents Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale and big brother Kingston. The beach, famous for its surfable waves, was the inspiration for Neil Young's album Zuma, making the locale a bona-fide musical landmark.
And then there's Nesta, Zuma's middle name. Gwen and Gavin, avid Bob Marley fans, probably took a cue from the late singer's middle name, which was also Nesta. Marley's home base of Kingston, Jamaica, was an inspiration for big brother Kingston Rossdale's name, so it seems Marley themes are popular in the Stefani-Rossdale household.
Zuma's second middle name, Rock, might be a nod to Rock Steady, the third studio album from Stefani's band No Doubt. Rock Steady was primarily recorded in Jamaica and featured a reggae-heavy sound, rounding out the Bob Marley love for the musical clan.

Melanie Chisholm is ready to spice up her life – with a baby! The sometime Sporty Spice, 34, and her boyfriend of six years, property developer Thomas Starr, confirmed the pregnancy on her Web site Friday morning. "Some happy news," she wrote. "I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy."
Mel C. follows in the footsteps of her former Spice Girls bandmates – Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton – who have all become moms. Baby buzz building began last week, when Chisholm wore a baggy dress during a show in Liverpool last week. "As I'm sure you'll understand, we needed time to wait for results and tell our families," she explained on the site.
Even as she prepares for motherhood, the singer says she's "also excited" to begin writing songs for a new solo album. "I will need to take some time off to be a mum," she wrote. "But, before you know it, we'll be back." Her "very excited" trainer, Matt Roberts, adds: "Her pregnancy is great news. Melanie is fit, healthy and well and I am sure she will sail through her pregnancy, and I know that she will look great afterwards too, as I will be making sure that she does!"

Gwen Stefani and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their second child, a son, on Thursday in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has learned. The couple named the boy Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, a rep for Stefani says. Zuma joins the couple's other son Kingston, who turned 2 in May.
Gwen, 38, who is one of four children herself, has spoken openly about her hope for more children. "I'm in a race to have another," she told InStyle last year before announcing her pregnancy. The No Doubt singer, also the designer behind the L.A.M.B and Harajuku Lovers fashion lines, told the magazine that Gavin is "super into being a dad."
Gavin, 42, told PEOPLE that the couple planned to follow friends' advice and get a gift for Kingston so he didn't feel left out when his new sibling arrived. "Apparently when the baby comes home, you've got to bring a really good present for Kingston," he said. As for parenthood, Gavin told PEOPLE, "It's terrifying and exciting and brilliant."

Well, that name is a little out there for me. I like the same Kingston, but Zuma?! And to make it worse it sounds like some kind of weird tea when you add Nesta. Well, Congrats to the happy family.
It's another girl for Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, his rep tells PEOPLE. "Matt and Lucy Damon had a baby girl named Gia Zavala on Wednesday, Aug. 20th. Everyone's doing great," Matt's rep, Jennifer Allen, tells PEOPLE. "She is a healthy baby girl."
The newest addition is the third little girl in the Damon household, joining big sisters Isabella, 2, and Alexia, 10. Matt recently joked about living with so many females, telling USA Today from his home in Miami, "I'm so outnumbered down here, it's crazy."
Matt, 37, and Luciana, 32, met in Miami Beach in 2003 while he was filming the comedy Stuck on You. They married in December 2005 at City Hall in Manhattan. Matt is a "phenomenal" father, his close pal George Clooney told PEOPLE in 2007. "He absolutely adores those kids. He's doing it really well."

"Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn are thrilled to announce that they are expecting their third child," her rep told Usmagazine.com exclusively on Wednesday. "The couple originally denied reports that they were pregnant in an attempt to take back the right to release the joyous news themselves."
Angie, 36, and Jason, 37, are parents to daughters Finley, 4, and Avery, 3. "You know, I don't think we're done," Jason told Us at the Harold Pump Foundation Celebration Dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel on August 8. "We had [Finley and Avery] and they were only 20 months apart," he explained. "That's too close. We were deep in diapers for about a year of just solid two diapers. I was like, 'enough.'"
With two girls, the actress is hoping for a baby boy this time around. "Being an athlete, I don't want boys to have the pressure," Jason (a former NFL star) told Us in February. "So it's not something I pray for, but she does!"

Jennifer Garner has finally acknowledged her pregnancy. At an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of Baby Einstein products in L.A. Wednesday, a USA Today reporter asked the actress, 36, about her upcoming projects. Jennifer then pointed to her baby bump and said with a smile, “This.” She wouldn’t reveal her due date, USA Today reports.
"We're so excited, obviously," she told Access Hollywood. She also joked about her swollen belly. "Oh, I'm not pregnant. I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It's just — what do they call it — a breakfast pouch?" Jennifer and husband Ben Affleck — parents of daughter Violet Anne, 2 — recently snapped up a $16 million house in the L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood as they prep for their new baby.
In 2007, she told the UK edition of Marie Claire that she and Ben couldn't wait to give Violet a sibling. "We definitely wonder what it would be like to have another — hopefully, knock on wood, someday," she said. In June, Ben told Access Hollywood, "We're very happy. Things couldn't be better. We're kind of taking it easy and just kind of enjoying a little downtime at home."

Officials of Memphis International Airport say they probably won’t change the airport’s name to honor the late singer Isaac Hayes. During a memorial service for Hayes on Monday, U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen publicly suggested changing the name of the airport.
Airport board chairman Arnold Perl told The Commercial Appeal newspaper that Memphis is one of the most respected and recognized brands in the world. Perl said Hayes was a great ambassador for Memphis, but the current airport name best serves the city’s needs.
Hayes died Aug. 10 of an apparent stroke at age 65. Cohen said Tuesday he was drafting a letter to the Airport Authority formally making the suggestion to change the airport name.

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have gotten back together, a source tells Usmagazine.com. "They've been talking a lot," a source tells Us. "Their friends are quite pleased that they're getting back together and are trying to give them space." Rachel recently made an appearance at Ryan's weekly deejay gig at Green Door lounge in Hollywood.

After they called it quits, Ryan told GQ that women were "mad" at him. "A girl came up to me on the street and she almost smacked me," he said. "Like, 'How could you? How could you let a girl like that go?'" Of their split, Ryan said, "The only thing I remember is we both went down swingin' and we called it a draw."
