Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, have welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, born Monday morning in Nashville, PEOPLE has confirmed. "Husband Keith was by Nicole's side, and mother and baby are very well," said spokesman Paul Freundlich, who added that the couple were "delighted" to make the announcement. He also said the baby girl weighed 6 lbs., 7.5 oz.
The pregnancy was first announced in January. Nicole has two adopted children with her former husband Tom Cruise: Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.
Keith is expressing his and Nicole’s baby joy on the World Wide Web.
Shortly after the birth announcement was made, the singer released a statement on his Web site: "Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today."
