Faith Hill will release her first Christmas album, Joy to the World, this year, according to a newsletter from her fan club. Faith's previous Christmas recordings include "Where Are You Christmas," from the 2002 film, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Faith was also a guest on Josh Groban's holiday album, Noel, which was released last year. Hill will perform at the CMA Music Festival on June 6. 
Mindy McCready has now been questioned by the FBI in its perjury investigation involving baseball star Roger Clemens, according to the New York Daily News, which has been closely following the case. According to the newspaper, two FBI agents interviewed Mindy in an effort to determine whether Clemens lied when he told congressional investigators he had never taken performance-enhancing drugs. Clemens denies having used steroids and human growth hormone. Mindy has not refuted reports that she and Clemens were involved in a relationship that began in 1991. Mindy will perform Thursday (June 5) during a noon concert on the opening day of the CMA Music Festival in Nashville.
Taylor Swift will sing "Picture to Burn" during the season premiere of Nashville Star airing June 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. CMT will rebroadcast the premiere on June 14 and will subsequently rebroadcast the episodes on Friday nights. Now in its sixth season, Nashville Star will be hosted by Billy Ray Cyrus. Jewel, John Rich and Jeffrey Steele are this season's judges.
Tatum O'Neal was due to be arraigned in New York City Monday after police arrested her for allegedly buying crack cocaine near her home, according to authorities. A New York City Police spokesman Det. Martin Speechley confirmed to PEOPLE the Paper Moon Oscar winner, 44, was seen making the illicit purchase at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday on Clinton Street. She was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Speechley said police also arrested the alleged drug dealer, Allen Garcia, 32, who was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony. Tatem and the dealer were taken to Manhattan's 7th precinct for booking and are expected to be arraigned Monday in downtown Manhattan.
The New York Post reports that Tatem, who appears regularly on the cable series Rescue Me, is said to have told officers, "You know who I am, right?" She also claimed she was "researching a part – I'm doing this for a part as a junkie." In addition, she is quoted as telling detectives, "Can't we just forget about this?"
Tatem, the daughter of actor Ryan O'Neal and the ex-wife of John McEnroe, told PEOPLE in 2002 that she was abandoned by a drug-abusing mother (actress Joanna Moore) at age 7 and began using drugs by 14 – moving eventually from marijuana, Quaaludes and cocaine to heroin. Tatem chronicled her struggles with addiction in her 2004 memoir, A Paper Life. The actress completed rehab in 1996 and claimed to be clean.

The record-breaking $55.7 million earned by Sex and the City on its opening weekend – the most ever made by an R-rated comedy – not only stunned industry observers but has also taken its star and producer Sarah Jessica Parker by surprise. "To be No. 1 is unexpected," Sarah Jessica, 43, told PEOPLE at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards. "Beyond that, it would be greedy for us to think about, talk about" how much it might make.
The weekend's second-place movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, has so far taken in $216.9 million. This weekend, it trailed Sex with a still impressive $46 million at the box office, according to industry estimates.
As for fans’ reactions to her movie, which comes four years after the adored HBO series finished a run that began in 1998, Sarah Jessica says she is pleased. "They had to have barricades in New York for the audiences," she notes. "People have been really enthusiastic, people have been really nice."

Firefighters patrolled fire-damaged Universal Studios early Monday for flare-ups while authorities considered whether the blaze that gutted some of Hollywood's most famous backdrops was made worse by low water pressure. At one point, Sunday's fire was two city blocks wide, and low water pressure forced firefighters to get reserves from lakes and ponds on the 400-acre property. The blaze was contained to the back lot, but burned for more than 12 hours before the final flames were extinguished.
"The water pressure situation was a challenge," Los Angeles County Fire Chief Michael Freeman said. "This fire moved extremely fast." County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky said authorities would investigate the water problems to see whether they reflect a larger shortfall in the area. "There's no question that there was a lack of adequate water pressure at least in the perception of a lot of firefighters," he said. "We're going to find out what the problem was."
Universal Studios is a theme park and its back lot is a working studio, complete with streetscapes and soundstages. The fire, which broke out around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, destroyed the courthouse square from Back to the Future. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates were not available, but costs are expected to move into the millions. The park was to reopen Monday.
It was the second fire at the historic site in two decades, leveling facades, hollowing out buildings and creating the kind of catastrophe filmmakers relish re-creating. This time around, thousands of videos chronicling Universal's movie and TV shows were destroyed in the blaze. But Universal officials said that they were thankful no visitors were seriously injured — though several firefighters suffered minor injuries — and that the damaged footage can be replaced. "We have duplicates of everything," said NBC Universal President and Chief Operating Officer Ron Meyer. "Nothing is lost forever."
Two mock New York and New England streets used both for movies such as Bruce Almighty, Spider-Man 2 and Transformers and as tourist displays were a total loss, Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Darryl Jacobs said. The city streetscape has recently served as a backdrop in television shows like Monk, Crossing Jordan and House, said NBC Universal spokeswoman Cindy Gardner.
Meyer estimated there were 40,000 to 50,000 videos and reels in a video vault that burned but said duplicates were stored in a different location. Firefighters managed to recover hundreds of titles. The videos included every film that Universal has produced and footage from television series including Miami Vice and I Love Lucy.
Hundreds of visitors who waited for hours outside the park gates were turned away Sunday after officials decided not to open the area. On a typical weekend day, about 25,000 people visit Universal Studios. An adjacent shopping promenade also was closed. The MTV Movie Awards, broadcasting live Sunday night from the nearby Gibson Amphitheater, went on as planned.
